On Questions

"There are no stupid questions, only stupid people who ask no questions."

On LGBTQ

Ignoring a homophobic slur is just as bad as uttering one. People are ALL born equal (cliche maybe) and it's not fair to stereotype what you absolutely do not understand.

(LGBTQ: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning)

On Farmer's Market Bananas

Farmer's markets are usually the better option for your wallet, the economy, and your belly- but bananas are not native to North America, so it makes no difference where you buy them.

On Big Brother

Never mock your employer(s) online. They are rarely as ignorant as you might think.

On Life

Sometimes it takes a long bike ride around a cemetery to realize just how lucky you are to be alive.

On Spills

Don't cry over spilled milk; juice is stickier and attracts more bugs.

On Procrastination

I will let you know as soon as I watch this video...........

On Landlords

Landlords are experts at procrastinating. Offer to do a job yourself and have it come out of rent money-they'll be there in under 24 hours.

On Friendships

It may take a while to realize, but the friendships you make in high school are usually the longest lasting ones.

On Cats

Cats are like children and have their own agenda, so love them despite the 5am vomits and 7am meowing. =^..^=

On Job Prospects

Don't get overexcited and share too many details about a job not yet secured. This will only elicit envy from others if you get the job or satisfaction if you don't.

On Quitting Facebook

It's hard, maybe harder than quitting cigarettes. The best way to stop is by throwing your computer out the window. Or moving to the Arctic.

On Music

Not all music improves the brain, but studying/reading with Yo-Yo Ma's Bach cello suites sure does come close.

On Recycling

Apparently people will steal anything, so label your recycling box and pretty much anything you leave outside for more than a few minutes. Keep recycling though!

On Biking

Check forecast ahead as peddling in the rain is no fun for you or the bike!

On Lessons...

We hear them all the time and often see opportunities to use them, but putting them into practice can be tricky.  A lesson is not just a piece of information passed down from elders, but a sacred life experienced by someone of any age just by living life to the fullest. Sadly, the best lessons often turn into cliches and then no one listens. Here I'll post a daily lesson on things that have personally happened to me- not random mindless lessons that have been preached to me by others. Hope it may inspire someone to learn from another...
